There is definitely one thing that can be said for the people who are going to be most likely to spend on us these days if we are sending out a mailer and that is that the people who really do pay off to market to are also nicely enough the easiest to get a hold of. There are so many times when we are not able to get the type of cash we wish we had working for us and when we do this then we are going to end up so disappointed because when you miss a chance to make a sale it is very easy to take that very personally. Most people are going to be upset when they discover that they have messed up, but those of us who are in things for the long term know that a mailer will work with just a few tiny alterations if we go ahead and give that a shot. The right kind of mailer can work on a sweepstake lead because these are the people who actually pay attention to the leads that they get. If we are going to really do something for ourselves then we have to get serious about what it is we are about. There are very few chances to sell in the limited amount of space that a mailer offers so we have to be very focused on what our message is going to be.
If you work the right base of customers who actually like mail then your success is not only close to guaranteed, it’s easy.
