Common Causes of Yeast Infections
There are many causes of yeast infections. Yeast thrives in areas that are moist and damp and clothing can trap those areas. Especially tight clothing causes these areas to be unable to breathe causing a yeast infection.
Chemicals like those found in perfume and some toilet papers can also cause yeast infections. Another cause could be an allergy to latex. Some condoms also play a big role in causing yeast infections as they contain a lubricant that can be associated with yeast infection.
Diet and low immune system have also been known to contribute to yeast infections. Areas of the body that are most like to host a yeast infection are the mouth, genitals and folds of the skin as these are areas that are more likely to be moist and damp.
Most yeast infections are found in women but men can get them too. Poor hygiene is another cause of yeast infection. It is important to keep yourself clean and do everything you possibly can to avoid some of the known causes of yeast infection. Eat a wholesome diet that promotes the necessary bacteria to remain in your digestive tract as this will lower the risks of contracting yeast infections.
